Although all efforts are designed to keep the maps found inside this gallery updated regularly so they are current as can be, please keep in mind a map is like a book and the second it has been published; unfortunately it is already "out-of-date". A map is only as current as the date produced (usually found on most maps), and is also effected by the accuracy and currency of the data used at that time to produce the map itself (ex. a lot of our maps currently use the latest Stats Canada data available, which is from 2001). We have included a "File Date" below with each entry to give you a general idea of the currency of the map and to compensate for maps that might not have a date produced located on the map itself.
